At the Kurt Vonnegut Museum & Library I worked as the Marketing and Communications Intern.  As the M&C Intern, I created media of various types for all KVML events.  This media included press releases, flyers, text/photos for the website, and social media sources such as Twitter, Facebook, Eventbrite and Instagram.

 

The Banned Books Week event held in September of 2020 was truly unique.    It was being held during the COVID 19 pandemic, under the guidelines of the CDC concerning the wearing of masks and social distancing. In the photos, I am preparing for the fundraising dinner in connection to the event along with other KVML staff.  One of my responsibilities was the set up of the book table and the selling of KVML related merchandise.  It was a great experience and very successful in terms of safety and meeting our fundraising goals.
